Nathan Fielder first teased his Elizabeth Holmes documentary, You Can See Everything, earlier in Sept. with a tense minute-long exchange between the two.
Now, Fielder (The Rehearsal) posted A24's official trailer on social media, showing a deeper look into the time he spent with Holmes and her husband, Billy Evans. As Mashable previously reported, You Can See Everything, directed by Fielder and Lance Oppenheim (Primetime), chronicles the weeks before Holmes went to prison to serve her over 11-year sentence for fraud. It then spans a three-year journey "into the abyss," according to the film description on A24's website.
Fielder lived with Holmes, Evans, and their children on their invitation. The trailer shows Fielder questioning both Holmes and Evans — the motives of the former, and whether Evans trusts his wife. Holmes, who founded the bunk health tech company Theranos, insists she has nothing to hide, while her husband insists he's never been suspicious that she's lied to him.
The trailer ends with Holmes admitting it's taken her a long time to be OK with anyone seeing her cry.
You Can See Everything hits theatres on Oct. 16.
