Netflixs Thrash trailer is hungry sharks after tsunami after hurricane

March 12, 2026

A shark fin glides toward people in flooded ruins.

Like 2012 Australian horror movie Bait, Netflix's upcoming film knows that tsunamis can be the least of your worries after a Category 5 hurricane.

Sharks (!) wash in with the tide in Thrash, the latest from writer-director Tommy Wirkola (Violent Night, Dead Snow). In the trailer above, we see the meat truck chum hit the floodwaters as stars Phoebe Dynevor, Djimon Hounsou, and Whitney Peak find themselves surviving wave after wave of natural forces.

Shark movie fans, this one's for you.

Thrash hits Netflix April 10.
