Jimmy Kimmel goes scorched earth on Trumps alleged birthday letter to Epstein

September 9, 2025

A man in a suit stands on talk show stage. The caption at the bottom reads,

Donald Trump's alleged birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein has been published by the House Oversight Committee, and — despite the president's denialsJimmy Kimmel's reaction to it was unequivocal.

"That is not a birthday note, it's a signed confession," the host says in the Jimmy Kimmel Live! clip above. "That letter is so creepy it should have its own documentary series on Netflix. I give it two hours before Trump claims it was written by Joe Biden's autopen. And by the way, can you imagine if that little pubic scribble said Joe Biden instead of Donald Trump? There would have been another storming of the Capitol."

Kimmel then plays a clip of Speaker of the House Mike Johnson trying to defend Trump, claiming he kicked Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago and was "an FBI informant."

Kimmel's response? "Trump was an FBI informant the same way Diddy was a masseuse."
