From the perspective of a HubSpot User
The first thing (and arguably most
important thing) you need to do is to
communicate the value your content
offers for your audience. This means
briefly explaining the benefits your
audience will gain through your
content and why it's worthwhile for
them to give away that one precious
commodity: their contact info.
For this particular eBook, the value
proposition might be something like
this:
A step-by-step guide for converting
content into qualified leads through
HubSpot's marketing automation tool.
The headline is the first thing
people see so make it big and let it
communicate the value. Perhaps for
this eBook, the headline would be
something like: "A Guide to Turning
Content into Leads with HubSpot".
Next you want to have a brief
description which summarizes the
value proposition for your content
piece and why it will benefit readers.
In this section, use bullet points to
make your content easier to digest and
complement the copy with a relevant
image or video.
Afterwards, you'll want to create a
form for your landing page which
will be the portal for capturing leads
and contacts. You want to capture as
much information as possible without
turning people off from downloading
your content. Best practice is to make
certain must-have fields mandatory
